March 2021
Food Assistance Program initiated by two volunteers from Hlaingtharyar Township-starting with 50 meals a day and reaching 100 meals a day by the end of March
April 2021
First fundraiser social media announcement, and the joining of two more volunteers to the team. We were delivering 300 meals a day by the end of April.
June 2021
Our first media coverage brought our activities a great reach. Since then Myanmar Kitchen saw a massive donation growth from the public.
July 2021
Three established restaurants joined Myanmar Kitchen to co-share their kitchen for preparing and packing meals to donate. By the end of July, we were able to donate 1,600 meals a day.
September 2021
1,600 meals were donated every day without any disruptions. 30 communities covered. 10,000 residents reached. 140,000 meals distributed so far. 50+ volunteers on board.
November 2021
- Myanmar Kitchen got verified for UNICEF within the UN Partner Portal.
- Teach Your Community program kicked off.
- Heineken Myanmar Limited joined hands to donate 2,500 meals per day till December. This marks our first major collaboration.
December 2021
Collaborated with Coca-Cola Pinya Beverages Myanmar to provide 62,500 cooked meals and access to clean water supply (8 water projects)
Janauary 2022
Medical Assistance Program initiated.

Myanmar Kitchen is on a mission to empower communities which have been impoverished by pandemic and political turmoil in country, to end hunger, enhance health, overcome lack of access to clean water and guide new generation to build a better future for themselves and their communities by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
